Canada Post is experiencing unprecedented volumes of packages to be delivered due to the pandemic (more people shopping online) and busy holiday season. I recommend you order as early as possible. I try my best to ship your order out quickly, but once it is in the postal system, I have no control over when it is delivered to you. I appreciate your patience.

Local Pick-up (Toronto)

Enter "LOCAL" at check-out for local pick up near Bloor/Christie. You'll receive an email after you order on date/times for pick-up. *Please only apply the code if you are going to pick-up, if you end up needing it shipped you will be invoiced for the shipping fees.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Time

*Due to COVID-19, please expect shipping delays and order as early as possible, as postal offices put safety first while managing the high volume of parcels.

All parcels are shipped through CanadaPost. We only ship to Canada and the U.S. at this time. Enter your location at checkout to find your shipping cost and delivery time.

Standard Untracked (for smaller items/orders) shipping within Canada and Small Packet USA Air options do not come with a tracking number. If you would like your parcel to have tracking please upgrade your shipping at check-out. 

Duty/Import taxes are the responsibility of the customer. Small Hours is not responsible for lost/untracked, stolen items, or items not received due to an incorrect address once they have been shipped. 

Production Time

Small Hours goods are made by hand in small batches by one person and may or may not be in stock at the time of your order. Though your order is likely to ship within a few days of purchase, please allow up to 10 business days before your order is shipped.

Changes to Orders

If you wish to change something about your order, please email us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes can be made and it largely depends on what part of the fulfillment process we are in.

Refunds

If you are unhappy with your item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item(s). Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Items must be unused. Provided we receive your item in unused condition, you'll receive a full refund. We do not give refunds for sale items, and customized or personalized items.

Packaging & Commitment to Sustainability

I work with local suppliers when possible and all production is done in small batches in-house. I am committed to using simple and efficient processes in every step of production to minimize unnecessary waste of time, space, materials, & resources. Orders are packaged minimally, and re-used, recycled, recyclable and/or biodegradable shipping materials are prioritized.

Variations in Leather

All items are hand-made and the item you receive may be slightly different than in the product images. Care and attention is paid in the selection of hides, however, as consistent as we strive to be, due to the nature of leather, there may be slight discolouration, scratches, or change in texture between each item created. All leathers have different wear over time, some leathers will acquire markings more easily than others, and some may change in colour over time. These differences serve to add to the beauty and uniqueness of your item.

Vegetable Tanned Leather

Some of our items are made with vegetable-tanned leather. Vegetable tanned leather is known for this strength and made-to-last durability. Natural marks and slight variations in colour occur in leather, these add to the beauty of the leather. Vegetable tanned leather darkens, softens, and patinas beautifully over time. It develops it's own individual character and evolves with you. No two pieces of leather will age the same way, so you'll have an item that is uniquely yours.

Leather Care

Avoid exposure to water, prolonged sunlight, and extreme weather conditions. To keep your leather goods well-conditioned, apply leather conditioner every 6 to 12 months.
